Guidobaldi's Concertino for Two Oboes and Piano was commissioned and premiered by Dr. Frances Colón and Dr. Nermis Mieses during the 2016 International Double Reed Society Annual Conference in Columbus, GA. The music was rescored by the composer in 2017 for soloists and chamber orchestra. Although no particular Latin American rhythms are used in the composition, the Latin style was certainly a strong influence. There are three movements: fast-slow-fast, with a total duration of approximately 9 minutes.
The orchestra set includes a full score, and parts for the two solo oboists, 1 flute, 2 clarinets, piano, and strings (3-3-2-2-1).
