Zaimont: Dance/InnerDance for Flute, Oboe and Cello

This trio for flute, oboe, and cello was commissioned for the Huntington trio and premiered in 1985. Although the trio is cast in three main sections, two outer scherzos principally in 5/8 framing the slower mid-sections, the whole never rests, pressing forward until the last measures. Both technique and ensemble will be challenging. Duration 10-11 minutes.
