Stephenson: Intersections for Flute, English Horn, and Cello

The music for “Intersections” was inspired by the lives and careers of a couple musical friends who by chance found themselves at the Eastman School of Music, the New World Symphony Orchestra in Miami, multiple musical ensembles in San Francisco and eventually Salt Lake City, Utah. It is a story thousands of miles in the making, though this musical journey is just a brief chapter in their collective tale. It is a chamber work that celebrates a past place and time, but brings us together in the present day. A full score and individual parts are included. Duration approximately 3 minutes.
