Marcelle Fanny Henriette Soulage (1894-1970) was born in Lima, Peru, but was raised in Paris and studied at the Paris Conservatory. She won First Prize at the Paris Conservatory in Accompanying, Counterpoint, and Composition, and later taught there. Pastorale, op. 15, was composed in 1920. Approximate duration: 4 minutes.
