Paris Conservatoire with Charles Colin, where he received
the first prize in the concours of 1881. In 1900 he was
appointed Professor of Oboe at the Conservatoire National

Lamotte's 18 Etudes are adapted for the oboe from
studies of Mazas, Kreutzer, Rode, Schall and Bruni.
First published in 1905, these studies are dedicated to
Louis Bleuzet. Excellent technical studies.
