After a theme and nine variations on a popular Brazilian bedtime melody 'Carneirinho, carneirao' ('Little Lamb, Big Lamb'), the composer concludes with another more ominous bedtime medody 'Sapo cururu.' It tells of a large frog in a cold pond waiting to jump into bed with anyone who doesn't go to sleep promptly. This work has been recorded by James Ryon and is available through Jeanne, Inc.
