Part of "Brazilian Chamber Music" series published by Jeanne, Inc. This work by Jose Vieira Brandao (1911-2002) has two movements: 'Seresta' is a serenade or love song, and 'Desafio' is a song from the Northeast of Brazil wherein two performers musically "compete" with each other.

Separate oboe and cello parts plus a full score are included in the set. This duo has been recorded by James Ryon and is available from Jeanne, Inc. (CD 2261)
