Continue ShoppingNoel Scott Stevens (1926-2013) received the BM (Theory), MM (Music History), and DMA (Composition) degrees from the Eastman School of Music. He taught at several universities including the Crane Music School (Potsdam, NY), the University of Tampa, and the University of South Florida. As a clarinetist, he performed with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Florida Orchestra, and the Ars Nova Woodwind Quintet. Until his retirement, he was a recording artist for Musical Heritage. His compositions have been performed by the Eastman School of Music Wind Ensemble, the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, and numerous other ensembles in Europe.
