Although there is some question about the actual composer of this duo, it still is a very popular work. This new edition, edited by John Anderson, is based on the Andre publication of 1810. Inconsistencies between the parts have been corrected and selected dynamics and articulations have been added. The trills and grace notes are explained with suggestions for performance.

Both score and parts are included. The clarinet part is printed in the original C clarinet notation for the first two duos, but a transposition for B-flat clarinet is also included. The third duo is only for B-flat clarinet.
