Grayson Griffis

Grayson Griffis is a self-taught composer from a small farm town in South Georgia. He draws much of his inspiration for his pieces through his connection with nature and his humble country roots. Although having very little formal training in composition, it is his passion. He has had various works performed by high school and college level ensembles. His compositions range from orchestra and wind ensemble to solos and chamber groups. He is also an accomplished bassoonist and saxophonist performing in local community orchestras and churches. When he is not composing or performing, he is busy with his day job as a family dentist.
