Ellen Spokane

Ellen Spokane has a Bachelor of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music with a major in composition and has done additional graduate studies at Columbia University. Her major composition studies were with Vittorio Giannini, Danuto Fornuto, and Ludmilla Ulehla.

Ms. Spokane has had commissions for concert band by the Indiana University Band, Ohio State University Lyric Wind Ensemble, and Bethel University Concert Band. She has composed ballet music which has been performed by The Eugene Symphony, Ohio State University, Boston's New Music Festival, Kent State University, the New Dance Group of Houston, Texas, and the St. Paul Academy in New Hampshire.
