Duo Concertante for Trumpet in C and Violin is an early work by David DeBoor Canfield. Originally composed in 1984, it remained unpublished until Canfield decided to substantially revise the music in 2011. The present, and final, version of the music is significantly rewritten in certain places, but retains much of the original version, especially the mood and structure.

The work comprises two movements, Andante semplice and Vivace energico, with a total duration of approximately 5.5 minutes. The set includes a score plus individual parts for each of the two instruments.
