Continue Shopping Ann Marie Kurrasch is an American composer, educator, performer, and entrepreneur. She
was born in Los Angeles, has lived in the Midwest and on Maui, and now lives on the
Central Coast of California. She holds Bachelors’ Degrees from Pitzer College, Claremont,
CA, and Oakland University, Rochester, MI, and a Master of Music in Composition from
Oakland University, MI.
She is a commissioned and published composer, has written for diverse instruments and
vocal ensembles, and is a member of ASCAP. She has developed her own music business, My
Heartsong Music, writing original songs to commemorate special occasions, most recently
for the Centennial of her own town.
Recently published is her compilation of piano solos: The Collection: 12 Piano Solos.
She has also completed 3 albums, Refreshing Rain, a meditative CD; Maui No Ka Oi, piano
and vocal works inspired by living on Maui; and Sweet Souvenirs, an eclectic mix of
instrumental and vocal styles. "A Day in the Park" and "Ponderings from the Pond," both
published by Jeanne, Inc., were commissioned by contrabassoonist Susan Nigro.
