The Jeanne guillotines have been designed with particular attention paid to the location of the fulcrum to give you the greatest mechanical leverage. The blade moves in a dove-tailed guide that can be adjusted to control how the blade meets the cutting edge. This ensures that the guillotine will produce a clean cut every time, is a critical factor in maintaining the position of the cane in the gouger bed. The cutting edge is reversible, which will double life of the machine. The length of the cut can be adjusted to accommodate different machines. An anodized finish will add protection to the aluminum parts, which can easily be wiped clean.
